The regional career forum TOP JOBS – Stara Zagora will be held from September 11 to 13. The forum is organized by Brand Media Bulgaria in partnership with the Municipality of Stara Zagora, the Regional Economic Development Agency – Stara Zagora, and Trakia University.
The event aims to accelerate the adaptation process for those affected by the energy transition and reduce its negative consequences by connecting local people with sustainable employers in the industries of the future.
An expo zone with an exhibition of employers is planned, and the program includes discussions related to the development of the labor market in Stara Zagora and the region in the context of social, energy, and digital transformation, as well as targeted sessions on entrepreneurship, staff retention policies, European opportunities for improving qualifications and skills, and more.
Over 500 participants are expected to attend in person and online. Among them will be people directly and indirectly affected by the restriction of coal mining, young professionals at the beginning of their careers, as well as experienced professionals seeking a career change. Over 30 exhibitors will present various career development opportunities in sustainable industries. There will also be training institutions, local and European experts, HR specialists, and representatives of the non-governmental sector who will share their experience and vision for the future. The chairman of APSTE will be a special guest lecturer at the event..
