While TEN-E\u2019s overall aims remain valid, updates are necessary to better align the Regulation to the EU\u2019s revised 2030 and 2050 climate targets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The signatories to the letter, including&nbsp;<strong>Amazon, Facebook, Google, Heineken, Ingka Group | IKEA, Enel Green Power, and Engie&nbsp;<\/strong>from the RE-Source Platform, call on the EU Parliament to propose revisions to the TEN-E Regulation that:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Prioritise the deployment of smart electrification infrastructures<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support the simplification of permitting procedures<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fully integrate medium and low-voltage grid investments.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is vital that corporate sourcing of renewables is enabled at the EU and national level so businesses can support a cost-effective decarbonisation of Europe\u2019s economy.
