In connection with the ongoing public consultation on the proposed amendments to the Excise Duties and Tax Warehouses Act (EDTWA), APSTE expresses concern regarding the envisioned excise duty treatment of energy storage facilities.
The Association is finalizing an official position paper addressing the regulatory risks identified for the sector and proposing specific legislative amendments to ensure technological neutrality and alignment with European Union law.
