Your Input Needed: Cases of Dis- & Misinformation in Bulgaria and the Region

Dis- and misinformation are among the greatest hidden risks to the continued development of wind and solar energy. This April, APSTE Chairman Nikola Gazdov will address these challenges head-on at the WindEurope Annual Event in Madrid (April 21–23).

Nikola will contribute to two critical panel discussions:

  • “Fighting dis- and misinformation on wind energy”
  • “Defending the Wind Industry Against Disinformation: Regional Experiences and Lessons”

These insights will be vital as we prepare for our upcoming policy session at the European Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) in Brussels (June 9–11). Titled “Stress-Testing Europe’s Energy Transition: Managing Risk, Affordability, and Security,” the session will be hosted by APSTE in partnership with the Center for the Study of Democracy (CSD).

We want to hear from you

To ensure Nikola’s regional perspective is as impactful as possible, we are looking for real-world examples from the field. Have you encountered specific instances of dis- or misinformation at a local level while developing your projects?

Please share your experiences at desislava.mateva@apste.eu Your examples will help ground these high-level European discussions in the practical realities of the industry.
