Position: Junior Events & Operations Coordinator
Type: Full-time or Part-time
Location: Sofia, Bulgaria (Hybrid)
About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and hands-on Junior Events & Operations Coordinator to support APSTE’s growing portfolio of conferences, workshops, certification courses, and member events. This is a practical, learning-oriented role offering real responsibility from day one.
Key Responsibilities
Events & Logistics (Primary Focus)
- Support planning and delivery of conferences, trainings, and internal events
- Coordinate venues, speakers, registrations, and suppliers
- Prepare event materials and participant lists
- Support on-site execution and post-event follow-up
Operational Support
- Coordinate with partners, members, and service providers
- Support internal meetings and team operations
- Assist with administrative tasks related to events
Requirements
Essential
- Outstanding verbal and written skills in Bulgarian and English
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Proactive, outgoing, and dependable personality
- Willingness to learn and take responsibility
Education
- Student or graduate in social sciences, economics, communications, or similar fields
Experience (advantage, not mandatory)
- Events organization or logistics
- NGO, association, or project-based work
